IGVC is the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition, which generally takes place each June in Detroit, MI. There are two separate contests: a "navigation challenge" and an "autonomous challenge." The navigation challenge requires visiting multiple GPS waypoints while avoiding obstacles such as barrels and fences. The "autonomous challenge" simulates road-following along a twisty course of painted lines and scattered obstacles. We have entered the competition with Warthog each year since 2007, when we took home "Rookie of the Year" honors.

This effort is supported in part by the National Science Foundation and the University of Delaware. Our original equipment sponsors included Novatel and Segway.
