- Make, save, and submit a map using the ROS gmapping package of a fairly complex environment (like Willow Garage) in Gazebo. Make sure that you are NOT using ground truth poses! Your map should be as complete as possible.
- Sign up for a 1-hour slot to come to my lab (Smith 211) on Tuesday, Oct. 30 or Thursday, Nov. 1 here. In the lab you will make a map of a mini-maze with the Create robot and Hokuyo ladar and then use it to navigate from the start to finish. No coding will be necessary before you arrive.
